Description
The main façade of the Toledo Cathedral presents three doors: on the left, the Puerta del Infierno (Portal of Hell). To the right, the Puerta del Juicio Final (Portal of the Last Judgment). In the center, the Puerta del Perdon (Portal of Forgiveness. In the 1400s, it was said that penitents who entered through the Portal of Forgiveness were granted indulgences. Today, this entrance is reserved for special occasions, only.
