Zonta Club of Amherst was officially chartered in 1965 and was organized under the sponsorship of Buffalo Zonta. Celebrants at the Amherst Zonta Charter Dinner included (left to right): Mrs. Herbert (Ella) Knight, Miss Anne Crowe, Miss Edna Nairn, Buffalo Zonta President Mrs. Paul (Betty) Fernbach and Amherst Zonta President Miss Marie K. Corcoran.
