Year-round sponsorship of these tours was provided by the United Community Chest and Red Cross Appeal and acquainted tour participants with the value gleaned from community investment in handicapped rehabilitation, placement of children in loving foster homes, training in first-aid and home-nursing, family counseling and senior citizen support.]]></dcterms:description>
