About the Collection

Consisting of 90 items, the Medical Illustrations Collection showcases work created between 1935 and 1945 for the School of Medicine at the University at Buffalo by former medical illustrator Melford Diedrick. The media used include carbon dust on Ross board, pen and ink on scratch board, and watercolor on illustration board.
