About the Collection

This collection consists of photographs and other images related to Jewish life in Buffalo and the Niagara Falls area taken from the Jewish Buffalo Archives at the University at Buffalo. The collection was developed as part of the Jewish Buffalo Archives Project, a collaborative initiative of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Buffalo and the University Archives in the University Libraries of the University at Buffalo. Images from the 19th century through the mid-20th century are included in this collection.

Funding for the creation of this collection was received from the Western New York Libraries Resources Council through the Regional Bibliographic Data Bases and Interlibrary Resources Sharing Program.
