About the Collection

The images in this collection come from 35 mm. Kodachrome slides and digital photographs taken by Claude Welch, SUNY Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Department of Political Science, during his travels around the world. The images in this collection reflect a wide span of his interests and continents, with particular strength in sub-Saharan Africa, Western Europe, India and China.
