About the Collection

The Visual Resources Collection was established more than 40 years ago to support teaching in the fields of Art, Art History, and Architecture. Currently comprising 161,000 35mm slides and lantern slides and 12,000 photographic prints and negatives, the Visual Resources Collection is transitioning to an online digital teaching collection which supports the entire UB community.
