She was a member of the music faculty at the University at Buffalo 1957-1975, teaching violin, chamber music performance, and conducting the university's orchestra. While in Buffalo she also conducted the Community Music School of Buffalo's orchestra, building it from an ensemble of ten people to one hundred. After she left the University at Buffalo she served on the music faculty at Ithaca College until 1993. The collection contains images of Pamela Gearhart, her husband Livingston Gearhart, Budapest String Quartet members Mischa and Alexander Schneider, and conductor Skitch Henderson.&lt;/p&gt;
