Toxic wastes are buried in the stretch of land between the rows of houses in the Love Canal Neighborhood, Niagara Falls, New York
An aerial view shows a residential neighborhood with rows of houses. Each house has a backyard, many with above-ground swimming pools. In the middle of the neighborhood, there is an open, barren area of land with sparse vegetation and exposed soil.
