Love Canal Chemical Waste Landfill (Niagara Falls, N.Y.)

A patch of barren, uneven ground with several small pits or depressions partially filled with dark or murky liquid. The soil appears cracked and disturbed, with minimal grass or vegetation along the edges. Some light-colored rocks and organic debris are scattered throughout the area. The overall scene suggests environmental damage or contamination.
