Description
Married couple Adeline and Murray Levine seated at a table in the crowded indoor setting of the Love Canal Homeowners Association Active Hose Dinner Dance fundraiser, held on May 31, 1980. Both are wearing white T-shirts with the text "LOVE CANAL – Another Product From HOOKER CHEMICAL" and a green heart symbol replacing the “O” in “LOVE.” Adeline (at left) wears a navy windbreaker over her T-shirt and large glasses, with a checkered scarf around her neck. A clear plastic pitcher and cup sit on the table in front of them. Murray Levine (at right) is also wearing glasses, has short dark hair peppered with grey and a beard.
