The black and white aerial photograph shows a dense rail yard running vertically through the center, containing multiple parallel tracks, sidings, and a circular roundhouse with radial tracks extending outward. An industrial complex is adjacent to the roundhouse. On both sides of the yard, residential neighborhoods are laid out in a grid pattern, with houses and streets extending outward. Additional railway lines and a large curved track connection are visible at the bottom right. The handwritten number “8226-120” appears in the top right corner, and printed text at the bottom right reads: “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
