Title
Central square, Geneva
Description
Geneva is one of the four French-speaking cantons [the equivalent of provinces or states] in Switzerland. Three other cantons are partially Francophone, while one is Italian-speaking. The remaining ones of the 26 are German-speaking, although one canton is officially trilingual. Note how the square is free from traffic, done each Sunday to preserve a sense of quiet through the city.
