Title
Hassan Tower, Rabat
Description
The Hassan Tower is opposite the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. It was meant to be the minaret of a yet-incomplete mosque. The minaret and mosque were intended to be the largest in the world. Visitors and pilgrims can access the tower via a series of ramps, rather than stairs. The ramps would have allowed the muezzin to ride a horse to the minaret.
