Title
Fruit market in Fez, Morocco
Description
Given the heat of the Moroccan summer, it makes sense to enclose markets. This reduces the need for air-conditioning, which in any event would be financially and architecturally unfeasible. In these markets, different types of food are grouped together, much like aisles and shelves in supermarkets. The aromas and colors of scenes like this attract all visitors.
