Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The aerial photograph shows the boundary between urban residential neighborhoods and open land. The lower portion is filled with grid-like rows of houses, intersected by straight and diagonal streets. Moving upward, the development thins out into open fields with scattered buildings and undeveloped lots. At the top, a large rail yard with multiple parallel tracks and adjacent industrial facilities is visible. A diagonal rail line connects into the yard from the left. The lower right corner is labeled "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C.," and the top right corner shows the code "8226-14."
