Kilkadziesiąt przedstawień w Nowym Jorku, Edynburgu i w Londynie dał Wrocławski Teatr Laboratorium, prowadzony przez Jerzego Grotowskiego. Wszystkie spektakle ("Książe niezłomny", "Apokalypsis cum figuris" i "Akropolis") spotkały się z olbrzymim zainteresowaniem krytyki i publiczności.
