21 stycznia 1971 r., odbyło się spotkanie przedstawicieli środowisk twórczych z Edwardem Gierkiem, na którym I-szy sekretarz KC PZPR poinformował zebranych o decyzji najwyższych władz partyjnych, odbudowy Zamku Królewskiego - symbolu kultury narodowej.
January 21, 1971, the meeting was held with representatives of the creative Edward Gierek, where the 1st secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party informed the meeting about the decision of the highest authorities of the party, the reconstruction of the Royal Castle - a symbol of national culture.
