Barbakan krakowski czyli tz. Rondel był niegdyś częścią obwarowań miejskich. Stanowił w średniowieczu duże osiągnięcie sztuki fortyfikacyjnej. Oprócz Krakowa, barbakany posiadały: Toruń, Wrocław, Szczecin i Warszawa.
Barbican Krakow or tz. Rondel was once part of the city walls. In the Middle Ages was a big achievement of the fortification art. In addition to Krakow, barbicans have Torun, Wroclaw, Szczecin and Warsaw.
