Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie (zał. w 1919 r.) była i jest jedyną wyższą uczelnią w kraju, która kształci młodzież w dwóch podstawowych kierunkach - górniczym i hutniczym. Z szeregów jej absolwentów wywodzi się kadra specjalistyczna kopalń i hut. Na zdjęciu: fronton gmachu.

Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow (est. 1919) was and is the only institution of higher education in the country, which educates young people in two basic directions - mining and metallurgy.
