Lublin - pierwsza powojenna stolica Polski Ludowej, to także ośrodek akademicki. Już w 1944 roku utworzono tam uniwersytet, nazwany imieniem słynnej polskiej uczonej: Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie. W ciągu 25 lat wykształciło się na nim wielu specjalistów i pracowników nauki. Drugą wyższą uczelnią w tym mieście jest Katolicki Uniwersytet Ludowy na zdjęciu: fragment jednego z budynków uniwersytetu im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie.
Lublin - the first post-war capital of the Polish People's Republic, it is also an academic center. Already in 1944 there was created a university, named after the famous Polish scientist: Maria Sklodowska-Curie. In the 25 years it has developed into a number of specialists and scientists.
