Polonia Kanadyjska, która przekazała dotychczas blisko 35 tys. dolarów, objęła swym patronatem szkołę rzemiosł budowlanych w Opolu. Na uroczystości otwarcia przemawiał wiceprezes Polsko-Kanadyjskiego Komitetu Obrońców Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego i Stulecia Kanady p. Mieczysław Nicowski.

Canadian Polonia, who gave so far nearly 35 thousand dollars, covered the auspices of the school building crafts in Opole. At the opening ceremony of the Polish-speaking vice-president of the Canadian Committee of the Defenders of State Millennium Polish and Canadian Centennial, Mr Mieczyslaw Nicowski.
