Okres największej świetności Zamku, rozpoczął się z chwilą wstąpienia na tron Stanisława Augusta Poniatowskiego. Wówczas w kręgu mecenatu króła znalazło się wielu wybitnych, o europejskiej sławie, artystów polskich i obcych, takich jak:

The period of greatest splendor of the castle began at the moment of Stanisław August Poniatowski's accession to the throne. Then, under the patronage of the king were many outstanding, of European fame, Polish and foreign artists, such as:
