W XX-leciu międzywojennym gospodarowaliśmy bez wielkiego powodzenia
na stu kilkudziesięciu kilometrowym pasie wybrzeża. Jedyny konkretny efekt, to Gdynia i port gdyński. W r. 1939 nasza flota dysponowała zaledwie 38 statkami o nośności 120.000 DWT. Przemysłu stoczniowego nie było. A rybołówstwo? lstniało tylko przybrzeżne łowiąc w roku 1938 zaledwie 12.000 ton ryb.
Przyszliśmy nad Bałtyk w r. 1945, ale stanęliśmy już nad nim mocną nogą.

In the twentieth century interwar period gospodarowaliśmy without great success
over a hundred kilometer long coastal belt. The only concrete result, the Gdynia and the port of Gdynia. In 1939 our fleet had only 38 ships with a capacity of 120,000 DWT. Shipbuilding was not. A fishing? lstniało just offshore while fishing in 1938, only 12,000 tons of fish.
We came to the Baltic Sea in the year 1945, but already stood over him a strong leg.
