Dzięki pracom wykopaliskowym wiemy, że już w X wieku istniało w rejonie Warszawy osadnictwo rolne i zaczątki wymiany towarowej.

Thanks to excavation work, we know that in the tenth century in the Warsaw area there already existed agricultural settlement and the beginnings of trade in goods.
