W r. 1896 założył księgarnię pod No. 147 Townsend ul. skąd po paru latach przeniósł się do własnego domu pod No. 223 Lovejoy, gdzie swoją księgarnię powiększył jak również bogato rozwinął skład artykułów dewocyjnych, tworząc największy tegO rodzaju handel na Polsce. ALSO: Prócz Zjednoczenia ob. Slisz jest czynnym czlonkiem Kółka Dramatycznego im. Adama Mickiewicza w Buffalo, którego był założycie lem w r. 1895, trzykrotnie prezesem a od początku nieprzerwanie niemal dyrektorem, występując równocześnie jako zdolny amator lub jako reżyser.

In 1896 founded the bookshop at 147 Townsend Street, where after a few years they moved into their own home at No. 223 Lovejoy, where his bookshop grew as well as the richly developed devotional articles, creating the largest such trade to Poland. ALSO: Besides Unification, Slisz is an active member of the Adam Mickiewicz Drama Institute in Buffalo, where he was a founding lem. (member?) in 1895, three times president and almost continuously since the beginning of the director, acting simultaneously as a capable amateur or as a director.
