Po wyświęceniu objął asystenturę w angielskiej parafii Zwiastowania Naj.Panny Maryi przy Lafayette ave, w Buffalo, skąd po kilkumiesięcznym pobycie przeniósł się jako asystent do parafii św. Stanislawa B. M.

After ordination he (Podlewski) took an assistantship in the English parish of the Annunciation of Mary Naj. Panny at Lafayette Ave, Buffalo, where he moved after months stay as assistant to the parish of St. Stanislaw B. M.
