This black-and-white aerial image depicts a river spanned by a long bridge, with additional causeway structures leading to a small island and industrial installations in the water. On the lower half of the image, dense residential neighborhoods are visible, laid out in a grid pattern with numerous closely packed houses. Several industrial facilities, rail yards, and large circular storage tanks are present near the waterfront and along the railway lines. The upper half of the photograph shows open water with the bridge connecting both shores. The image is marked 8226-188 in the upper right corner, and “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” appears in the lower right.
