This black-and-white aerial photograph shows a mix of residential, industrial, and transportation features. The top section is dominated by extensive rail yards with multiple parallel tracks and industrial buildings. Below the tracks, dense residential neighborhoods are arranged in a grid with some diagonal streets. A river or canal curves along the left side, bordered by a levee, while factories and warehouses are scattered throughout the area. Open industrial yards and undeveloped land are visible toward the right. The bottom right corner reads “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.,” and the number “8226-230” is marked in the top right.
