This black-and-white aerial photograph shows a densely packed city neighborhood. The scene is dominated by a tight grid of streets filled with rows of houses and buildings, creating a uniform pattern across most of the image. Several diagonal streets cut across the grid. Toward the top right, large rail yards and industrial areas are visible, with multiple parallel tracks and open lots. The photograph is labeled “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” in the lower right corner, and the number “8226-114” is written in the upper right.
