Overview: Maurice Frey graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School in 1928 and subsequently established a law practice in Buffalo. For some years in the 1950's and 1960's he taught at the University as an adjunct professor of law. In this interview, Mr. Frey discusses his education at the University of Buffalo and his later affiliation with the school as a law professor. He focuses especially on his role in developing a clinical course in trial law for the University and the use of the mock trial as an educational technique. Mr. Frey also discusses the legal community in Buffalo, the development of his own practice and his involvement with Republican politics in Western New York.
