Description
White envelope mail art, created by Carlo Pittore, addressed in black with red and blue ink stamps on front of the envelope. A black-and-white printed advertisement or flyer is centered on a white page featuring a bold rectangular border, a large illustrated head tilted back with an open mouth as if shouting, and the words “Speak Up” and “Speak Out” arranged around the image. The text promotes a book-length interview, includes phrases about questions on the meaning of life, credits “Bern! Porter! Interview!”, and lists pricing and publisher information for The Dog Ear Press in Hulls Cove, Maine. The front of the envelope is addressed to Daniel M. Graham in Buffalo, New York. A red stamp of a person in a top hat is in the top center of the envelope, and a blue stamp with a hand pointing toward the mailing address. Mail art recipient: Daniel Mark Graham.
