[Ed Smith reading] /
Description
Recorded in Buffalo, N.Y. on February 22, 1987 for Spoken Arts Radio. Paul Hogan donated a copy of the recording made on a 60 minute TDK sound cassette.
Paul Hogan highlights the work of poet and professor Ed Smith. Smith's poetry is highly influenced by jazz and his work "Bird and strings and butterfly dreams" is a piece that pays homage to Charlie Parker and jazz.
