Recorded at the University at Buffalo on July 22 and 23, 1968 by Allen De Loach on two Scotch reel-to-reel tapes.
During the fifteenth and sixteenth sessions, Duncan read from Canto LXII by Ezra Pound and from Book III of Paterson by William Carlos Williams. Among the subjects Duncan discussed during the fifteenth and sixteenth sessions were Blake, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Stevens, Pound, Stravinsky, Pound's "The serious artist," Dante, "Ode on a Grecian Urn," Strindberg, Shakespeare, Cage, The golden bough, Edward Lear, Lewis Carroll, Bunyan, Ben Jonson, Dryden, Cups (Blaser), Vivaldi, De Chirico, The Cantos, Picabia, Dorn, Stein, Duchamp, Olson, Ginsberg and Creeley at the 1963 Vancouver Poetry Conference, McLuhan, Zukofsky, Warhol, Darwin, Williams, Beckett, and Finnegans wake. During the fifteenth session, the one book added to the reading list was The story of the four little children who went around the world by Edward Lear. No book was added to the reading list during the sixteenth session.
