Among the subjects Duncan discussed during the ninth and tenth sessions were Freud, Jung, Hesiod, Homer, Pindar, Sappho, Hesiod's Theogony, The Old Testament, Themis: A Study of the Social Origins of Greek Religion by Jane Harrison, Homer, Plato, Herodotus, Euripides, Zoroaster, Lao-tse, Kung, Pythagoras, Pound, Williams, Olson, Gertrude Stein, Blake, Louis Simpson, James Dickey, Goethe, Yeats, Milton, Dante, Bunyan, Chaucer, Spenser, Shakespeare, Robert Browning, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Coleridge, Newton, Nerval, Robin Blaser, The New Testament, William Law, Aristotle, Robert Graves, Laura Riding, Dylan Thomas, Rimbaud, Piaget, Shakespeare, H.D., Joyce, "The burrow" by Kafka, Rilke, Turner, Charles Stein, Spicer, Orph??e by Cocteau, St. John of the Cross, Timbers by Ben Jonson, ESP, Buddha, Kung, Christ, and Pythagoras, those last four as "masters and teachers," The H.D. Book (Duncan), and Moby Dick. During the ninth and tenth sessions, the books added to the reading list were Aurora, The signature of all things, The great six points, and Mysterium Magnum by Jacob Boehme, Man on his nature by Charles Sherrington, The circulation of the blood by William Harvey again, and The inferno by August Strindberg.
