Title
[Poetry reading at the Poetry Collection, University at Buffalo, August 3, 1988] / Robert Creeley.
Description
Recorded at the Poetry Collection in Buffalo, N.Y. on August 3, 1988 on a 90 minute Maxell sound cassette.
During this poetry reading, Robert Creeley read poems from Windows (1990) with the exception of "The door." Creeley provided commentary and the reading concluded with a question and answer session. "It was a crucial time for recognition," Creeley said in answer to a question about Black Mountain College, "and potential, of articulate potential, and it had all the more so that fact because it had no large public authority, but it wasn't right or wrong. It just had an intensive feeling of--it was dazzling." The man who introduced Creeley is unidentified.
