View of George DeForest and his wife Laura Barton DeForest standing on the north side (lakeside) steps at Graycliff. Laura Barton Deforest was the daughter of Delta Martin (Darwin D. Martin's older sister) and George Barton and the first cousin of Dorothy and Darwin R. Martin
Two individuals stand outdoors near the base of a short flight of stone steps, holding hands. Both are dressed in mid-20th century attire ” one wearing a light-colored suit with a bow tie and the other wearing a patterned dress with short sleeves and a belt. Behind them, part of a building and some trees are visible. The scene is well lit, suggesting it was taken on a sunny day.
