THE TWENTIETH CENTURY CLUB
THE Directors of the Club felt that in this time of the
world's need, the Club should do its share in the War
Relief work. Accordingly a work room was opened
in the Club House in June, the results of which show 4636
articles sent to the French and to our own soldiers. Very
few of our club membership have helped in this work. A
more urgent appeal has come from the National Red Cross
for comfort bags to be sent to the men in the trenches for
Christmas. The Directors desire the Twentieth Century
Club to send 2000. This can only be done by each mem-
ber contributing. The bags will be made and filled at the
Club House at the least possible cost. Your contribution
of money can be sent to Miss Marion B. Mann, 219
Anderson Place and the work room will be open all day
on Wednesdays, as this work must be done by the third
week in October.
