Title
Aerial view, Ethiopian highlands
Description
Communications around Ethiopia are difficult, owing to the deep canyons cutting through the highlands. The high central plateau varies from 1,290 to 3,000 m (4,232 to 9,843 ft) above sea level. Ethiopia's lowest point is the Afar Depression, in the Afar Region −125 m (−410 ft).
