Description
On verso in pencil: "Parnell ne reviendra | jamais. D'it il il | est la. Tout ce qui | etait mortel en lui | est la. Paix à ses |cendras." Douane Centrale stamp on verso
A grassy clearing features a large boulder with the name “PARNELL” engraved on its face, situated near the center of the composition. At the front edge of the grass is a small plaque reading “PERPETUAL CARE.” The background is densely lined with tall trees, creating a shaded natural enclosure around the boulder. The scene suggests a memorial or gravesite.
