A literary exhibition showcases materials related to James Joyce. Along the top row, painted portraits of Joyce and others are framed and hung on a wall above glass display cases. The display cases contain books, letters, and photographs. Below them, a sequence of five large black-and-white photographic panels labeled with the years 1888, 1902, 1914, 1923, and 1933 shows Joyce at different stages of life, from childhood to adulthood. Each panel presents a portrait corresponding to the specified year.
