Description
An ornate stone-carved heraldic eagle displayed on an oval shield. The eagle is crowned and shown in a dynamic pose with outstretched wings and claws. A wide diagonal sash crosses the eagle’s body from the upper left to the lower right. The feathers are carved in detailed, layered textures, and the wings curve outward with dramatic flair. The dark tones and shadowing give the carving a sculptural depth. The background surface appears to be wooden paneling.
