The image shows the "modern" automated envelope-making machine (right) next to its 1860 counterpart.
A display of an envelope-making machine is arranged near large windows. On the left is an old-style printing machine with a flywheel, while on the right is a more modern printing press with multiple components and rollers. A wooden chair sits in front of the display, and signs above identify the machines as "Old-Style Printing Machine, 1890" and "Improved Linotype, Introduced about 1890."
