Description
A representative of Zonta International presented the first Marian de Forest Community Service Award to BPO Music Director JoAnn Falletta at Kleinhans Music Hall, Buffalo, New York. Marian de Forest was both the founder of Zonta International and co-founder of the Buffalo Music Foundation. The award, named in her honor, was presented every two years to an individual who demonstrated commitment to improving the quality of life of the community.
