A formal studio portrait shows four individuals posed in two rows against a plain backdrop. One person stands in front on the left, another in front on the right, with two more standing slightly behind them. The individuals wear late-19th-century style clothing, including high-collared garments and jackets. A printed studio mark and the location “BUFFALO N.Y.” appear along the right edge of the card mount. The tones are sepia, and the lower portion gradually fades, typical of aged cabinet card photographs.
