During Negro History Week
The Negro History Week Citi-
zens' Committee will sponsor a
full day of activities Feb 14 in
St. John Baptist Church, 184
Goodell St.
The morning session will
begin at 10 AM with a presenta-
tion by the Masten Vocational
High School Choir and conclude
at 11:30 AM with readings by
local poet Celes Tisdale.
The afternoon session, from
12:45 to 2:15 PM, will feature
presentations by Karl Single-
tary's Ballet Company, the
State University of Buffalo's
Black Student Union and the
East High School Choir.
The Imani Music Workshop
will highlight the evening ses-
sion from 6:30 to 10 PM. Others
on the evening program will
include the Black Dance Work-
shop, the Buffalo Philharmonic
& All College Choir and the
African Cultural Center.
