A pair of black rubber boots caked with toxic mud rest on a piece of cardboard placed on a tiled floor inside the Love Canal Homeowners Association Offices which were located in the 99th Street Elementary School prior to the school's demolition. The boots appear worn, and a glass door with a wire-mesh pattern is visible in the background; photographed by Penelope D. Ploughman.
