Love Canal Chemical Waste Landfill (Niagara Falls, N.Y.)

Several single-story houses with boarded-up windows are visible behind a long chain-link fence that runs alongside a wet sidewalk. The scene is overcast, and the ground appears damp from recent rain. A few trees with sparse branches line the fence, and utility poles with power lines follow the street into the distance. Grass and scattered leaves border the curb.
