Love Canal Chemical Waste Landfill (Niagara Falls, N,Y.)
Description
A row of three two-story houses stands along a muddy, rain-soaked street. The houses appear weathered, with peeling paint and sagging porches. Two cars are parked in front of the middle and right houses, which have wagon wheels placed on their lawns as decoration. Leafless trees and overgrown grass surround the area, and the sky is gray, suggesting cold and damp weather. Power lines stretch across the scene.
