Description
The damaged single-story blue house owned by Love Canal activist Lois Gibbs is partially hidden by dense trees and shrubs. The roof and corner of the structure are caved in, exposing broken wood framing and insulation. One window is boarded up, and debris is scattered across the ground, including a broken white fence panel in the foreground. The surrounding vegetation is overgrown and wet, suggesting recent rain. The visible house number reads "535."
